What is this app about?

This is a modern poultry farmers app that helps farmers manage poultry batches, track flock, eggs and feed inventory. The app also comes with detailed visual and graphical reports such as egg production & reduction reports, feed purchase and usage reports, flock acquisition and reduction reports.



How do I add flock?

From the home screen , take the following steps;

  1. Click on Flock icon.
  2. Click on the button on the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  3. Enter all the necessary information about the flock.
  4. Click on () Tick on the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.






NOTE

When you want make a Reductions in Flock.

  1. Click on the Reductions tab.
  2. Click on the button on the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  3. Enter all the necessary flock reduction information.
  4. Click on () tick on the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.






How do I edit flock?

On the Home Screen , take the following steps;

  1. Click on the three dots ( ) on each flock card.
  2. Click on Edit/View Record to take you to the Edit flock page.
  3. Edit all the necessary information.
  4. Click on the ( ) tick to save the changes made.

NOTE

On this page you can also Delete Flock by taking the following steps;

  1. Click on the three dots ( ) on the right hand side of each flock card.
  2. Click on Delete and a pop up page will appear.
  3. Click on button to delete flock from the app.



How do I add eggs?

From the Home screen, take the following steps;

  1. Click on the eggs menu/button.
  2. Click on Additions tab.
  3. Click on the button on the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  4. Enter all the necessary information.
  5. Click on () tick on the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.



NOTE

When you want to register reductions in eggs.

  1. Click on Reductions tab.
  2. Click on the button at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  3. Enter all the necessary information.
  4. Click on () on the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.






How do I edit eggs?

On the Flock details page, take the following steps;

  1. Click on Eggs to take you to the details page.
  2. On this page, click on the three dots ( )on eggs card on the right hand side.
  3. Click on Edit/View Record.
  4. Edit all the necessary information.
  5. Click on the ( ) Tick to save the changes made.


NOTE

On this page you can also Delete Eggs by taking the following steps;

  1. Click on the three dots ( )on the right hand side of each eggs card.
  2. Click on Delete and a pop up page will appear.
  3. Click on button to delete the information.


How do I add feed types?

From the Home Screen of the app, take the following steps;

  1. Click on Farm setup button.
  2. Select Feed types.
  3. Click on () button at the bottom of your screen .
  4. A page will pop up to enter the required information.
  5. Click on the button to save.




How do I edit feeds types?

From the Home Screen of the app, take the following steps;

  1. Click on Farm setup menu.
  2. Click on Feed types.
  3. Click on the three dots ( ) on the feeds type card.
  4. Click on Edit/View Record.
  5. Edit all the necessary information.
  6. Click on the ( ) tick to save the changes made.




NOTE

On this page you can also delete feed types by taking the following steps;

  1. Click on the three dots ( )on your right hand side of each Feed type.
  2. Click on Delete and a pop up page will appear.
  3. Click on button to delete the information.



How do I add feeds?

From the Inventory page, take the following steps;

  1. Click on Feeds menu/button.
  2. Click on Additions tab.
  3. Click on the button at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  4. Enter all the necessary information.
  5. Click on () in the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.




NOTE

When you want to register Reductions in Feeds, take the following steps.

  1. Click on Reductions tab.
  2. Click on the button at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  3. Enter all the necessary information.
  4. Click on () in the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.




How do I edit feeds?

On the Flock details page, take the following steps;

  1. Click on Feeds to take you to the details page.
  2. On this page, click on the three dots ( )on the feeds card.
  3. Click on Edit/View Record.
  4. Edit all the necessary information.
  5. Click on the ( ) Tick to save the changes made in the upper right hand corner.






NOTE

How do I add an income?

On the home screen of My Poultry Manager, take the following steps ;

  1. Click on Transactions menu/button.
  2. Click on the INCOME tab.
  3. Click on the button at the bottom of your right hand side.
  4. Add new income by filling in the necessary information.
  5. Click on the Tick() in the upper right hand corner of your app to Save.



How do I edit income?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager, take the following steps ;

  1. Click on Transactions menu/button.
  2. Click on the three dots () on the right hand side of the income detail you want to edit.
  3. Select Edit/View Record.
  4. Enter all the required changes.
  5. Click on the tick () in the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.




How do I add an expense?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager , take the following steps ;

  1. Click on Transactions menu/button.
  2. Click on the EXPENSES tab.
  3. Click on the button at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  4. Add a new expense by filling in the necessary information.
  5. Click on the tick() in the upper right hand corner of your app to Save.




How do I edit expenses?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager take the following steps;

  1. Click on Transactions menu/button.
  2. Click on the three dots () on the right hand side of the expense detail you want to edit..
  3. Select Edit/View Record.
  4. Enter all the required changes.
  5. Click on the tick ()in the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.




How do I add vaccinations?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager , take the following steps ;

  1. Click on Health menu/button.
  2. Click on the button at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  3. Enter all the required Information.
  4. Click on the tick ()in the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.






How do I add diseases?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager , take the following steps ;

  1. Click on Health menu/button.
  2. Click on the three dots () in the upper right hand side of your screen and select diseases.
  3. Click on the () button.
  4. A pop up page appear.
  5. Enter all the required information.
  6. Click on the button to Save.





How do I add medication?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager, take the following steps ;

  1. Click on Health menu/button.
  2. Click on the button at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  3. Enter all the required Information.
  4. Click on the tick ()in the upper right hand side of your screen to Save.






How do I edit vaccinations?

From the Health menu of My Poultry Manager, take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the three dots ()in the right hand side of each Vaccinations detail.
  2. Select Edit/ViewRecord.
  3. Edit all the required information.
  4. Click on the Tick () in the upper right hand side of your screen to Save the changes.




How do I edit a medication?

From the Health menu of My Poultry Manager take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the three dots () on the right hand side of each Medications detail.
  2. Select Edit/ViewRecord.
  3. Edit all the required information.
  4. Click on the Tick () on the upper right hand side of your screen to Savethe changes.


How do I add feedings?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager, take the following steps;

  1. Click on the Feeding icon to take you to the feeding details page.
  2. Click on the ( ) button.
  3. Enter all the required information.
  4. Click on the tick ( )on the upper right hand side of your screen to save.


How do I search for feeding?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager, take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the Search icon ( ).
  2. Search feedings by the bird's name .




How do I back up data?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager , take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the menu Icon from the top left hand side of the app.
  2. A drawer menu will pop up.
  3. Click on Backup & Restore and you will be directed to the Back up screen.
  4. Click on the BACK UP button.






How do I restore data?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager , take the following steps ;

  1. Take a reference of the first three steps in the backup section (1-3).
  2. Click on the RESTORE button.






How do I enable passcode?

From the home screen My Poultry Manager , take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the menu Icon from top left hand side of the app.
  2. A drawer menu will pop up from the left side of the app.
  3. Click on Settings under preferences.
  4. Click on General to take you to the General Preferences.
  5. Click on Enable passcode to set a pass code of your app.






NOTE

From here you can change your passcode by taking the following steps;

  1. Take a reference of the first four steps in the Enable passcode section (1-4).
  2. Click on Change Passcode and here you will be able to change your passcode.


How do I Change Currency?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager Menu, take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the menu Icon from the top left hand side of the app.
  2. A drawer menu will pop up from the left side of the app.
  3. Click on Settings under preferences.
  4. Click on General to take you to the General Preferences.
  5. Click on Default Currency to change the currency.






How do I Change the tray size?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager , take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the Menu Icon from the top left hand side of the app.
  2. A drawer menu will pop up from the left side of the app.
  3. Click on Settings under preferences.
  4. Click on General to take you to the General Preferences.
  5. Click on tray size.
  6. A pop up page will appear.
  7. Enter the tray size you want and click OK to save.






How do I filter reports?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager, take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the Reports icon .
  2. On the Reports details screen, choose the type of report you want for example Inventory,transactions,Egg Production e.t.c.
  3. Click on () icon on the right hand side of your screen to filter by either month or custom range.






How do I set a reminder?

From the home screen of My Poultry Manager , take the following steps ;

  1. Click on the Menu Icon from top left hand side of the app.
  2. A drawer menu will pop up from the left side of the app.
  3. Click on Reminders.
  4. Click on (notification) icon at the bottom right hand side of your screen.
  5. Enter all the necessary information.
  6. Click on the Tick on the right hand side of your screen to save the reminder.



When should I get the starter package?

You should get the Starter package if you want to do the following;

  1. To view restricted reports for i.e Eggs report, Feeds Report.
  2. To backup/restore your data to your Google Drive account.
  3. To remove adverts.


NOTE

You can only Restore data from the Email you backed data to.

When should I get the Farm Account package?

One should get this package when he or she wants;

  1. To share data / information between different users on the farm account.
  2. Get access to a web version for central management.
  3. Add multiple farm user accounts for record keeping.
  4. Access to web reports.
  5. To view restricted reports i.e Eggs report, Feeds report.
  6. Export data to excel, csv pdf, etc
  7. Advert-free experience.
